Lá Fhéile Bríde | St Brigid’s Day

30th Jan 2026

Inniu rinne muid ceiliúradh ar Lá Fhéile Bríde - céad lá an earraigh de réir Féilire na hÉireann. ????? Thaitin na traidisiúin Bhríde go mór leis na ranganna difriúla sa scoil. D’úsáid siad ábhair difriúla le crosóga a chruthú, maith sibh!

Míle buíochas ó chroí le gach duine a thug cuairt orainn ar maidin le cuidiú le daltaí R4-R7 crosóga a dhéanamh. ?

Today we celebrated St Brigid’s Day, which marks the first day of spring according to the Irish calendar (where seasons are measured by light as opposed to weather). ????? All our classes enjoyed keeping up St Brigid’s Day traditions, by creating crosses, using a variety of materials, well done everyone!

Heartfelt thanks to all those parents, grandparents and relatives who visited the school this morning to help our Rang 4 - Rang 7 pupils make St. Brigid crosses. Go raibh míle maith agaibh!
